Teachers are the cornerstone of any educational institution. That’s why we invest significant effort and attention in selecting our instructors. We understand that to become one of the best language schools in France, we must recruit teachers who are second to none.
Our Selection Criteria for French Language Teachers
- Native Speakers
We believe that language is more than just grammar—it’s a culture, a way of thinking, and a lived experience. Culture is passed down through generations via daily interactions, and we want our students to access this firsthand. By learning from native speakers, our students gain not only linguistic proficiency but also a deep understanding of French culture and nuances.
- English Proficiency
For beginners, understanding explanations in a familiar language is crucial. Since our school primarily serves the English-speaking expatriate and student community in Paris, we ensure that all our teachers can communicate effectively in English.
- Academic Qualifications
Teaching is a serious profession, and we value educators who have formally studied language acquisition and pedagogy. All our French teachers hold a master's degree in French language or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience
We believe that experience refines teaching skills. While the minimum requirement to join Centre Zenith as a French teacher is two years of experience, most of our instructors have between five and ten years of teaching expertise.
- Teamwork & Collaboration
Growth happens through collaboration. We foster an environment where teachers communicate, share experiences, exchange pedagogical insights, and mutualize resources. By working together, we continuously improve our methods and elevate the quality of our teaching.
